Just curious; Try either Burst Sine or Constant Sine and detune the strings to a full octave (or fairly close to it; For the benefit of others not using the SurgeXT, some parameter knobs can be right-clicked for additional options; Tap on the 'Extend Range" item first, then go tune the second string to an almost full octave up or down, say, 1195/-1195 cents). I honestly like the sound of that in particular; Sometimes use that as a carrier for FM/RingMod to modulate against.

In 1:08:05 osciloscope looks like scroling scenery from very old game :). The sounds what can produce this synth is very interesting, from glitch, fx, alien sounds to soundscapes and atmospherics.

I keep trying with this synth and i always end up left with blue balls. Like its probably a me problem, but outside of your video i havent seen anyone else creating what i thought this thing was capable of.

May I ask what what does it take to get to being an advanced sound designer, aside from hands-on experience? I feel that I may be lacking theoretical foundations regarding the physics of sound, but I don't know where to start, or rather how to start in order not to waste too much time on things that wouldn't come be relevant for this.

Btw, amazing presets - sounded impressive even on my worst headphones! (And by hard sound design, I do not mean incomprehensible)
